As part of celebrating Singapore's bicentennial, ActiveSG is bringing back the Pesta Sukan festive spirit into this year national day celebration.
"Pesta Sukan" is a Malay phrase for Festival of Sports aim to create opportunity for sportsmen and sportswomen to bond and interact through camaraderie, to encourage higher standards of sports through competitions and cultivate greater interest in sports as well as to promote racial harmony.
Pickleball is once again selected as one of the sports featured in this national sport event, with Singapore Pickle-Ball Association (SPA) spearheading the official tournament committee. A collaboration with ActiveSG, Singapore Pickle-Ball Association and Bukit Gombak CSC.
This year tournament we have total 26 age/skill events with games running on 5 full tournament days. We received an overwhelming 422 entries, played over 455 matches and 156 medals awarded to our winners ! Thank you to our 60 working committees and volunteers, who put in many hours of work to make this event successful.
Once again, congratulation to all our winners and we are looking forward to Singapore National Games 2020 !
